Free 20 Minute Phone Consultations

Counseling is an investment and one that the client should feel fully comfortable with. In these free 20 minute consultation calls, we talk about what you want to get out of counseling, what areas you need support with, cost and scheduling, and any questions you may have. You get the lay of the land of what counseling can look like at Root to Rise.

Counseling (Virtual and In-Person)

Individual and family counseling services are available by appointment only. In-person appointments are held in the Montrose area and virtual sessions are held through a secured, HIPPA compliant platform.

Walk and Talk Counseling Sessions (In-Person)

Stepping out of the traditional talk therapy space and into nature can do wonders for our mental health. Walk and talk sessions are held at a predetermined nature trail in Houston or surrounding areas. Just as the name suggests, we walk and talk through areas you’re struggling with and stressors in your life. This service is offered to existing clients.

Testimonials

“Leah’s authentic and effervescent leadership shines when it comes to sharing about self-care. I had the pleasure of participating in the Self-Care Sundays and the Mindfulness Hygiene series. She offered positive acceptance of where I was at, while also inspiring new insight into opportunities for growth in my self-care journey.” – CC

Leah Singer’s Mindfulness Hygiene Series expanded my understanding and awareness of what it means to truly be mindful. It allowed me the freedom and safe space to discover and process different aspects of my experiences, and how I could use mindfulness as a tool in my relationships with myself, others, and the world around me. Being that this was a group of people in practice with me, I was not only able to receive different perspectives that added even more value to my new discoveries about how to be mindful but I was also able to be in authentic connection with others.” – KB

“I have participated in Leah’s Mindfulness and More series since April, and I genuinely look forward to her compassion and insight each week.” – KC
